The Integrated Care Pathways Musculoskeletal (ICPMSK) programme is the expansion and national rollout of the successful Escalated Care Pathway (ECP) pilot run over the last 4 years.
The fully funded programme is designed for clients with injuries likely to require surgical review or intervention in three main body sites: Knee, Shoulder and Lumbar Spine. Integrated care pathways are designed for the clients to be able to access connected and streamlined care under a fully funded model.
Key features of the ICP MSK programme:
- Comprehensive Physiotherapy Care: Fully funded comprehensive pre and post operative physiotherapy management
- Surgeon Assessment and Management: Expert evaluation and guidance throughout the patient’s journey.
- Vocational Support: Return-to-work planning and support tailored to individual needs.
- Additional Services: Access to social work, psychology, dietetics, or cultural services if required.
Treatment options are kept client-centric and are based on evidence-based care and the individual’s needs and address both surgical and non-surgical care pathways.
